MOVE
St. Andrew’s is a MOVE school, which means we deliver functional Movement Opportunities Via Education (MOVE)and promote functional mobility throughout the day for pupils to enhance and develop skills. MOVE provides a framework which promotes collaborative working with families and health professionals to develop individualised programmes which increase functional mobility, develop cognitive and communication skills and improve health and social inclusion.
Annual MOVE Day
Our annual MOVE day returned with a Summer Festival theme. Everyone enjoyed a fab day with a disco, face painting, Morris Dancers and an ice-cream van. Classes made musical instruments and hats to go along with the Summer Festival theme.
