Tesco Stronger Start Community Grant

We have been awarded £1500  in the Tesco Stronger Start Community Grant scheme. This will support our  pupil council developing the school playground with some outdoor gym equipment. Thank you to everyone who supported us.

 

      

The Duke of Edinburgh

School groups and voluntary groups were among those who met The Duke of Edinburgh when he visited Inverurie Community Campus. Pupils from our school spoke to him about their Duke of Edinburgh Award journey.

Grampian Disability Swimming Gala

Congratulations to a number of pupils for their achievements at the latest Grampian Disability Swimming Gala – 8 gold, 3 sliver and 1 bronze medal!

Transition Time

Transition from St Andrew’s to Adult Services is a very important process for our pupils and parents. This process starts in term 1 and continues through to the end of term 4. Our seniors have been out visiting some of the places they may wish to attend after St Andrew’s. Today they enjoyed exploring the Pitscurry Project

Grampian Disability Sport

Pupils represented our school at a number of Grampian Disability Sports events this term. Pupils had great fun at a Rebound/Trampolining festival and a Racquet sports event. Well done to our pupils who showed enthusiasm and skill during these activities.

Duke of Edinburgh

Pupils undertaking the Duke of Edinburgh award, have been out and about on their expeditions.

 

Taste of Rugby

We have been enjoying ‘Taste of Rugby’ lessons with Nikki Simpson, the Rugby Development Office from Garioch Rugby Club.

Delighted to announce we have been awarded a Centre of Excellence status in Rebound Therapy!

Autism Accreditation

We have continued to achieve the Autistic Society Autism Accreditation for a specialist educational provision after our recent assessment in June.
